FREE 1/2 Day CECA Service Avoidance Seminar on 4th October at Inchyra Grange Hotel, Grangemouth (0900 – 1230 – refreshments and lunch provided)

Service strikes are potentially a dangerous and costly occurrence. This 1/2 day seminar aims to provide both front line supervisors and operatives with a better understanding of how to avoid strikes and provide them with the knowledge and tools to make better informed decisions.

After an introduction by the HSE, the morning will involve delegates moving around three distinct scenarios, each one covered by a different speaker:

Scenario 1will be concerned with how behaviours drive actions and impact upon decision making. This will be a behavioural safety session that has been modified for the audience. The speaker is Bob Cummins of Sodak Ltd.

Scenario 2:This will be delivered by Scottish Water employees as part of their drive to reduce the incidence of asset strikes.

Scenario 3: will be a Masterclass in service detection with emphasis on the proper use together of the genny and cat.

To reserve a place please contact Glenda at glenda@cecascotland.co.uk giving details of the name, designation and e-mail address of the delegate (s). Please note it is anticipated this event will be popular and therefore it is recommended that you book quickly.
