Time to nominate – #CECAScotAwards

Time is running out to nominate for next year’s CECA Scotland Emerging Talent Awards.  

Nominations are being sought from CECA Scotland member companies for:

  • Most Promising Apprentice (This award focuses on candidates undertaking apprenticeships in general construction operations, highways maintenance, road building, plant operations and plant maintenance)
  • Most Promising Technician
  • Most Promising Trainee Quantity Surveyor
  • Most Promising New Entrant Trainee Civil Engineer

Grahame Barn, CECA Scotland Chief Executive is encouraging companies to nominate:

These awards are hugely important – a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the young people in our sector and to promote the exciting career opportunities available in the civil engineering sector”.

The Winners in each category will receive a certificate and cheque for £500, with the awards presented at the CECA Scotland Annual Dinner in Glasgow on 22nd February 2018.  The evening promises to be a memorable occasion, with entertainment provided by comedian, Craig Hill and a speech by Ruth Davidson MSP.

The hashtag for the evening is #CECAScotAwards.
