Supporting staff struggling with stress

Last month, the Scottish Civils Training Group organised a series of successful Mental Health Awareness seminars, running during CECA’s Stop Make A Change fortnight.

The SCTG have now organised a follow up training session on Thursday 24th May at the Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld.

Presented by Dr Alan Curley, it will cover:

  • 4 Case Studies and the Paperwork Managers/Supervisors Deal with when Staff are Absent with Stress
  • How to Carry Out Stress Risk Assessment
  • Writing an Action Plan
  • Creating Supported Improvement
  • Signing Off and Completing Follow-up Assessment Paperwork

The cost is again £50pp for SCTG Members and £75pp for Non Members.

Anyone who missed part 1 of the SCTG Mental Health Awareness but has an understanding of the subject is very welcome to attend.
