Scottish Budget 2018/19

On Thursday 14th December 2017, the Scottish Government announced it’s Draft Budget.

We have produced a briefing highlighting the key issues of interest to CECA Scotland members and will be keeping a close eye on developments as the Budget passes through the Scottish Parliament.

CECA Scotland Chief Executive, Grahame Barn commented,

“With all the economic indicators signalling that the Scottish economy is lagging behind the rest of the UK in terms of growth, it’s vital that we see action to support increased investment in Scotland’s infrastructure and to boost Scotland’s productivity levels.  While we do very much welcome the Budget’s emphasis on growth, through significant expansion in capital expenditure,  what we need is a much clearer future infrastructure pipeline for Scotland and we will continue to make this case”.
