CECA supporting Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2017

Skills Development Scotland are aiming to make this year’s #ScotAppWeek the best yet, with the help of employers, apprentices, industry bodies, learning providers, colleges, universities and campaign supporters.

This years theme is ‘Skills for the Future’, recognising the importance of investing in our workforce. CECA Scotland are once again backing #ScotAppWeek and we’ll be working in partnership with Site Safe Scotland and West Lothian College to deliver an Apprenticeship Safety and Health Awareness Day (SHAD) for over one hundred apprentices.

There are three easy ways for CECA Scotland members to get involved in backing #ScotAppWeek:

1. Recognising the people who have supported their own work-based learning by supporting SDS’s #HereBecauseOf social media campaign

2. Joining Scotland’s Apprentice Network

3. Supporting Scotland’s Biggest Parents’ Evening

Skills Development Scotland have produced a Campaign Toolkit, available on apprenticeships.scot, providing full details on how to get involved, with links to downloadable graphics, social media posts and supporting materials.

There is also an online form to register your events and activity so SDS can promote everything that’s happening throughout the country.
