Free Refurbishment Safety & Health Awareness Day

CECA Scotland supports the work of the Working Well Together group and encourages them to provide relevant events for CECA members.

The next FREE 1/2 day SHAD will take place at Sibbald Training, Blackridge, West Lothian on 29th August.

The event will begin with a  short presentation from Prostate Scotland and Healthy Working Lives (HWL) before moving to a rolling programme of practical demonstrations and presentations on the following topics:

* Tower Scaffolds – PASMA
* Stonecutting (Silica), RPE & Welfare
* Asbestos – HSE
* Materials Handling
* Use of telehandler with underslung loads

13:00 Lunch (Soup and Sandwich)

This event will be held just before the start of the next HSE initiative in September 2019 which will focus on ‘Materials Handling’.

How to book

Please note places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Some demonstrations are outside, so all participants should wear warm/waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear.
