CECA Publish Free Construction Waste Guidance

The Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA National) have published new guidance on waste in the construction industry, free to all companies working in the sector.

CECA Waste Classification and Permitting in Construction (Feb 2018) has been produced by CECA Environment Group, with input from the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency,  Natural Resources Wales, and the Environment Agency.

The guide aims to be an easy to follow toolkit for anyone involved in dealing with waste from construction operations.

Designed to be clear and easy to read, it contains Flow Charts and links throughout to take the reader to more specific information if necessary.

Please share this guide with colleagues to ensure that best practice on managing waste and protecting the environment is shared at all levels of the Scottish construction industry.
