NEC4 Practical Application Workshop (3rd Feb)
February 3, 2021£65
We are now taking bookings for our NEC4 Practical Application Workshops next month. Delegates can choose to attend on either Wednesday 3rd February OR Wednesday 10th February.
The workshop details are:
Speaker: Glenn Hide of GMH Planning
Location: Online via Microsoft Teams
Summary: This one-day workshop is a practical look at some of the more significant aspects of the Engineering and Construction Contract. It will also introduce some of the new changes that
NEC4 has brought to the contract.
Recommended for: Everyone currently or about to be working under an ECC contract. This session will be suitable for those who are relatively new to these forms of contract as well as those who are already more experienced in the contract and looking to enhance their level of knowledge and understanding. Attendees of this course will have a much clearer practical understanding of these specific processes and see how they should administer them for the benefit of all parties on a particular project.
You will learn about:
The main parameters for choice of primary and secondary options.
Communication forms and consideration of what should be included.
Early warnings and the production/maintenance of the Early Warning Register.
Main programme requirements, what should go into a programme and the acceptance criteria.
Consideration as to which events do or do not constitute compensation events and the resultant process.
Assessing the Price for Work Done to Date (interim assessments).
This is a full day workshop which will begin promptly at 0900 and run through until 1600 with appropriate tea/coffee and lunch breaks. A maximum number of 33 delegates can be accommodated at each event.
The workshop is available at a cost of £65 + VAT per delegate and is being offered on a “first come, first paid” basis.
To secure a space, please contact email@example.com with details of a telephone number where you can be reached and we will then be in touch to take your payment.
