CECA Scotland – in partnership with the HSE, Pinsent Masons and ARCO – has arranged a half-day Health & Safety Workshop that is aimed at Health & Safety professionals and senior management that will cover the following topics:

A HSE Inspector will inform the meeting of the HSE’s draft work plan for 2024-2025.
Pinsent Masons will deliver a mock incident role play where you will experience an interview under caution and cross-examination in court. This will include;
Statements to HSE/Police in immediate aftermath of an incident
Witness interviews
Suspect interviews
Skin Cancer Awareness Training
Whilst skin disease is the second most common workplace health problem in Europe, an astonishing 98% of cases still go unreported, leaving people exposed to serious long term illnesses including cancer. This presentation often starts out as a bit of fun with the group all able to have a go at being tested by machines. However, this quickly turns into genuine interest, education and inquiry. For some it also leads to timely life-saving information about a potential skin care condition. Skin care is unusual in having a long latency and skin conditions may not appear for decades.

Registration will open at 1200 with a finger buffet lunch. The workshop will begin at 1300 and finish around 1530.

This is a FREE event. Please email Joanne@cecascotland.co.uk to reserve your place(s). This is likely to be a very popular event so please ensure that you make your booking soon to avoid disappointment!
