Do you know a star apprentice?
The Scottish Apprenticeship Awards are now open for nominations.
Organised by Skills Development Scotland, the awards recognise the outstanding contribution made by apprentices and are an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of apprentices across Scotland, as well as of individuals and employers of all sizes who champion apprenticeships and promote diversity.
As well as the usual categories, SDS have introduced new categories for 2018, including an apprentice instructor category, recognising the crucial role of training and mentoring and a Graduate Apprentice category.
You can nominate as many apprentices and employers as you like.
2018 Award Categories:
Apprentice Ambassador of the Year
Foundation Apprentice of the Year
Modern Apprentice of the Year – SCQF level 5
Modern Apprentice of the Year – SCQF level 6+ – NEW
Graduate Apprentice Rising Star – NEW
Apprentice Instructor of the Year – NEW
SME Employer of the Year (for organisations with 1 – 249 employees including public sector)
Large Employer of the Year (for organisations with more than 250 employees including public sector)

Deadline for nominations is 27 June, with the ceremony to be held on 15 November in Perth Concert Hall.
