CECA Scotland Annual Dinner 2018

CECA Scotland Annual Dinner 2018

Don’t miss one of the key events in the construction calendar!  We are now taking bookings for the CECA Scotland Annual Dinner and Awards, to be held in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Glasgow Central Thursday 22nd February 2018.

The 2018 event promises to be a memorable evening of speeches and entertainment, as well as a celebration of our Emerging Talent Award winners for Most Promising Apprentice, Technician, Trainee Quantity Surveyor and New Entrant Trainee Civil Engineer.

We will be joined by Leader of the Scottish Conservatives, Ruth Davidson MSP, who will propose the Toast to the Association and deliver a keynote speech on topical issues of the day.

The evening & awards ceremony will be hosted by Craig Hill who will also reply on behalf of the guests. Craig made his Edinburgh Fringe comedy debut in 1999 and has been a regular performer at the Fringe ever since. He has made countless TV & radio appearances and takes his one man show around the UK as well as to USA, Canada & Australia.

Doddie Weir, the former Scotland Rugby Internationalist will be a guest of the Association at this year’s dinner and we will be using it as a fund raising opportunity for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Further details about the Foundation which has amongst its aims to fund further research into Motor Neurone Disease can be found here.
