Academy 9 Innovation Papers Competition

Deadline Extended to Friday 5th October

Academy9 is an exciting initiative from Transport Scotland, linked into the Scottish Government’s A9 Dualling Programme – currently one of Scotland’s biggest infrastructure projects.

Based on knowledge exchange at all levels, Academy9 promotes STEM education and employment opportunities for future generations.

In a drive to raise awareness and inspire innovation in STEM and to celebrate the Year of Young People, Transport Scotland are now inviting industry professionals to enter an Academy9 Innovation Papers Competition.

It would be fantastic to see entries showcasing the fantastic, innovative work of CECA Scotland members.

How to enter

Entries can be selected from a wide range of professional areas. Innovation  could be a new idea, or a smarter, fairer, healthier, greener or safer way of working.

In the first instance, applicants should submit a synopsis of no more than 500 words on a completed entry form, no later than 30 September 2018 to: ekconsulting9@gmail.com.

Following this, applicants will be asked to submit a paper highlighting an example of innovation from one of their projects.

Winners will be presented at the inaugural Academy9 Conference, to be held at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort in March 2019.
