We have organised a FREE ½ Day CECA Scotland seminar on the SEPA enforcement regime & what it will mean for your business on Friday 8th December at the Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld.

This event is aimed at all directors and managers who have environmental responsibility and engagement with SEPA.

Event Timetable

0900 Presentation by Gordon McCreath, Pinsent Masons; Integrated Authorisations, One Planet Prosperity and New Enforcement Powers: how SEPA is changing its approach to environmental permits, enforcement and regulation generally and how your business should prepare for it.

This will include:
– an update on the previous seminar in Sep 2016, showing how SEPA is exercising its new enforcement powers since they came into force
– how SEPA’s One Planet Prosperity document is likely to change the way it regulates the construction industry
– an update on the new integrated authorisation framework for environmental permits, due to become law in 2018.

How environmental insurance policies can provide businesses with insurance to cover the statutory clean-up costs imposed by SEPA on the back of an environmental breach.
